About a month ago I cut my hours back from full time to part time, and ever since I’ve been working on building a product that is yet to launch called OrderDeck. One of OrderDeck’s primary functions is that a user must be able to upload file attachments to custom orders and conversations. When a file is uploaded the user is notified and they can either preview or download the file.

MAMP doesn’t add PHP runtime binaries to the system path by default, so we must do so manually. To use pear with MAMP first find the /bin directory of whichever PHP version you’re using. For myself it was PHP 5.4.4, so the directory was: /Applications/MAMP/bin/php/php5.4.4/bin/ To use pear we have to add that directory to our PATH, using bash it’d look like: echo export PATH=$PATH:/Applications/MAMP/bin/php/php5.4.4/bin/ >> ~/.bash_profile source ~/.bash_profile If you’re using ZSH it’d be:
